Live started playing the accordion at the age of 7 and now holds a Bachelor Degree in music from the Academy of Music in Trondheim, Norway, and a Masters Degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Denmark. In addition to her own concert arrangements, Live is engaged in conferences, classical music festivals and other musical events, both as a solo artist and as a chamber musician.
Live has a vast repertoire ranging from modern contemporary music, classical music, russian music, to varietémusic and tangomusic.
The list of composers includes such as M. Lindberg, K. Aho, S. Gubaidulina, Y. Takahashi, P. Nørgård, W. Plagge, J. S. Bach, D. Scarlatti, E. Grieg, F. Mendelssohn, and A. Piazzolla.



Live received a prize in the international accordion competition in Arrasate, Basque Country.
She won the chambermusic class in the international competition ”Festival internationale di fisarmonica”, Castelfidardo, Italia, with her duo Live and Ida.
Live has also won competitions like “The Norwegian youth championship in music”, and the “Norwegian accordion championship”.
Live has received several grants such as “Ellen og Erik Valdemar Jensens Musiklegat”, and “Ottar E. Akres legat” and “Martha Hansens Mindelegat.”
